PHILOSOPHY AT THE LIBRARY

The Philosophy Group meets upstairs in the Flinders Room of  Wollongong Library from 10.00 am – 12 noon on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.

In Term 1 2018 we will be discussing “Jesus the Man, The Philosopher” in February.

On 13th March we have invited Lyndon Storey, President of Council of Australian Humanist Societies as guest speaker.  This will be an afternoon session at a venue yet to be decided.  All U3A members are invited to attend this session.

Then on 27th March it is back to the library for a follow up session focussing on Cicero and Petrarch.

Further topics for discussion this year will include: Buddhism, Simone de Beauvoir, Ayn Rand and AC Grayling.
