Tour Group

U3A tours are held on the 2nd and/or 4th Tuesday of the month at various times.

A private tour will be on offer from 10am – 12.30pm on October 31st, Term 4. 
Titled A WORKING PORT TOUR,  this will be a 2 ½ hour tour that looks to showcase what is now a busy international port.

The tour begins at the Inside Industry Visitor Centre where you will meet your guide and watch a short video about the port itself.  The first stop is Greenhouse Park which lies above the port and gives an excellent overview.  After this you will enter the Inner Harbour and see all the key infrastructure points such as the grain and coal terminals, car import hub and the cruise ship berth. Progressing to the Outer Harbour, you get to see spectacular views of the Inner Harbour berths and tugboats.

The tour will finish with the awesome views from Hill 60, where you can see everything you’ve just visited from on high and witness the beautiful coastline of Wollongong. 

Cost is $30 PP, which includes a private guide and coach.
